Fairy tale Museum-awesome open house night project. Decorate classroom. Make props and costumes. Post children's fairy tales.
Riddles- Assign a couple fairy tales to read and create own riddles describing which story it is NOT.
Bean Stalk Graphing- incorporates math and the story Jack and The Bean Stock. Also allows scientific observation.
Venn Diagram Cinderella- Read Cinderella from various parts of the world. Discuss differences and similarities between these tales.
Fairy Tale Acrostic Poem-Allows use of poetry. Could use acrostic poems for individual tales to describe plot of story in groups. Then read a loud to classroom.
Character Mobiles- Assign students different characters from each fairy tale unit.
